It’s all go in our Hastings workshop! We’ve been factory testing two H&C Universal Robotic Box Cutters (UBCs) destined for secondary processors of meat products in the US.
The Universal Robotic Box Cutter (UBC) opens boxes of varying shapes and sizes, removing the need for operators to manually open boxes or cartons using knives. The UBC uses vision technology to scan the box and determine its size and shape.
The UBC is a unique technology that was developed by MHM Automation and is gaining momentum, with several units sold to secondary meat processors.
