The Organisation:
MHM Automation (MHM) designs and delivers automated systems for the global food processing and logistics industries. Our solutions enhance efficiency, yield, and worker safety by integrating advanced technologies with innovative engineering.
Founded in Christchurch in 1884, MHM has grown from a regional engineering business into a trusted international provider of automation systems for the food sector. With deep roots in New Zealand’s manufacturing and export industries, we are proud of our 140-year history and global reach across dairy, meat, cheese, fruit, and vegetable processing.
In 2024, MHM became part of Fortifi Food Processing Solutions, supporting Fortifi’s strategic expansion into non-protein food sectors and strengthening its presence across the Asia-Pacific region. Today, MHM operates across five continents through four key business units – Wyma NZ, Wyma EU, Fabrication, and Materials Handling – contributing to the delivery of full-line automated solutions worldwide.
The Role:
Based out of our Brisbane office, you will be using your programming skills to build, install, and commission automated mechanical systems for our Chilling and Freezing projects. You will manage these projects and ensure their success by designing and troubleshooting electrical issues, interpreting electrical drawings, and developing software solutions for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity where you can provide services to our external stakeholders, while being a key driver for individual growth within the organisation. Communication and interpersonal skills are vital as you support your team with fault-finding, technical tasks, and scheduling.
About You:
We Can Offer:
MHM Automation has 4 product centres of excellence across Australia and New Zealand. Despite our diversity and business breadth we are small enough for each person to make a difference through our values – we are bold, we are aspirational, we are in it together, we stand by it.
If this sounds just like what you have been looking for, please apply on-line.

We’re looking for a dynamic leader to drive the global Aftersales portfolio - Parts, Service, and Asset Management - within our Materials Handling Business Unit. This role is central to strengthening customer relationships, improving equipment performance, and growing recurring revenue.
As a key member of the BU leadership team, you’ll shape and deliver a customer‑centric aftermarket strategy, build scalable service systems, and ensure world‑class service quality. You’ll also create strong feedback loops across Sales, Engineering, Project Delivery, and Operations to continuously enhance our OEM offering.
